What a disposal can do!
Ok so anyone that really knows me- Knows that the only worldly possession I am going to bet to take with me is my wedding ring- I have loved it since day 1 and will always love it cause my hubby gave it to me, and picked it out, but when you do a pre-school and the little kids accidently dropped it down my kitchen sink without me knowing until i hear an awful klanking noise and realize it is the one materialistic possesion that is like a third child to me is down in the hole grinding- your heart about stops- I know some of you think that is a little dramatic, but think about how bad that would suck- Here is some before and after pics so you can all see. I tried to take a good one of my ring, but i have cried (by cry i mean balled histerically) since it happened yesterday- I would do anything to get back yesterday and wish it would never have happened, but i can't so hopefully today the insurance claim guy will have some justice and show a little love, and atleast give us some simpathy and not take us for what it's worth- I hope all you married/caring/loving/single/moms out there say a little silent prayer that A- this never happens to you- and B- that they can repair it, I really do not want another ring, and they no longer carry the one I have- I will keep you informed!

OH mY hEcK! you have got to be kidding me!!!!!!! I Loved you ring, I would just die! I hoe they can fix it, i couldn't tell, but are the diamonds gone!
Oh my goodness Ash! Don't worry I would bawl my eyes out to that is aweful! I hope they can fix your ring it is absolutely beautiful! I wish you the very best of luck!
Ash Im am so sorry.... THat is horrible so is the second picture the ring after? So did you get it out?? I would be bawling too...
I would just DIE! I am so so so sorry!! Are the diamonds still usable? I cant even imagine how devastated you must be. I have lost my ring twice. Once at Target and once when I was working at Old navy, and I remember the feeling I got when I realized it was gone. Luckily I found it both times. At old navy, all of the employees stayed until midnight helping me look for it. I completely understand not wanting a replacement. Even if you could get the same ring, it's not the one you were married with so I dont think you are being dramatic. I would feel the same way. Hopefuuly they can salvage at least part of it.
Ash that is awful! I know I'm so scared something will happen to mine I don't take it off anymore! Even though the bedsheets ruin it! I'll take my chances. I hope your ring turns out as beautiful as the day Mike gave it to you.
Hey! It's Kellie from work. I've kind of been blog stalking you! :) I am so sorry to hear about your ring. I hope everything works out and it can be repaired. I would be totally devastated too. Good luck!
That is awful! I would be so upset, too! Are diamonds missing?! I hope it can be restored to its former glory.
Your family pictures are so cute by the way.
That really sucks! Most times it takes something like that for most people to realize how much they appreciated it. Sounds like you already did.
Luckily/unluckily for me I loose things so much I've learned to not get too attached, I'll probably break it or loose it anyways. Well, except for my husband and kids.
That is awful!! I really hope they can fix it. I would have cried too! I loved your ring! Did you get all of the diamonds out?
That is horrible! So sad--I so hope that they can fix it! That would be so awful!
ASH!!! I stumbled across your blog and whats the 1st thing I read?? SAD! I'm SO sorry, I would be absolutley devasted. Hopefully the insurance guy will have a heart. Your family is SO darling though! I'm glad I found you. Hope all is well!
