We went as the incredibles- as you can see, my costume is stretched to the absolute max, one more fat roll in that thing... and it would have popped- We had such a good time though. We went to bandido's restraunt in layton, then to boondocks for some bowling and fun- We always look forward to these family outings, cause we have so much fun- I feel so blessed to have the family that I do- They are all good sports, and we have such a good time doing it. Here is IT"S perfect little profile- I think they are just perfect. Were not finding out this time what were having which is so exciting not to know- A lot of people think we are crazy, but we didn't find out with kenna either, and it was so much fun not to know- we figured this is our last big baby suprise in life, so why not end it with a bang and not find out! We are due March 9th, but I am thinking late february. We are so excited to meet them, and can't wait to have a new pair of baby feet running around our house- I feel like it's a HE, but will be thrilled with whatever is in there. I am enjoying every minute of this pregnancy knowing that it is our last. It has been great so far- I will get some baby bump pictures up- I am so in love with this little baby already, and am excited to meet them!

Tasian happenings

Today tasian has a pumpkin walk at school, and his class theme is anything to do with cars, so this is what dad contrapted up! We love it!!! the tires say... McKinley Cougars and the truck is hauling candy corn- We were up until 12:30 making that thing, and we are thrilled with the outcome. Tasian was so happy to wake up to that today and was smiling the whole way taking into school. The pumpkin walk is tonight so we are hoping for some sort of prize for him- He deserves it!

This was a letter Kenna wrote to Elder (Gentry) Anderson on his mission, It is equiped with her and gentry... some shopping bags, and a rainbow- He loved it- we got a letter from him last week stating his appreciation- We just love gentry and know he is an amazing missionary!

This is one from Tasian. It is hilarious- He has him and gentry holding books and their bubbles say... I like book mormon, and the other one is saying... I like book mormon too! - Hahaha I love it, oh and notice the title that says- Is it fun!!! So funny! I am a proud mama today!

Nursing School Journey!

I have been meaning to write about my nursing school experiences all along the progam... but due to the rediculous demands of school- I don't know how I would have made time, Now looking back I wish I would have. I never knew 4 years ago when I started I would ever see the day of finishing- I am now only a couple weeks away... and can't believe it- It has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions- some good... some not so good! I have laughed and cried A LOT! It has been extremely hard to balance the school life, while being a mommy and wife. At times I felt like I was the most selfish being that ever lived because I had to miss family parties, soccer games, dance and family time all to go to school- I regret a lot of things throughout the program, but now nearing the end- I don't regret going. I enrolled in school when Kenna was 4 months old and she is now 4 1/2. I can't believe I have been going her whole life. I feel so guilty as a mom to have missed so much, for an education- but I now know I have forever to catch up on lost time cause I am never having to go back to school. Tasian was 2 when I started and he is now 6- I can't believe it. I am hoping that once I slow down a bit... Life will slow down so I can enjoy all the moments of life a little longer. I truely believe that my kids were sent to me for a lot of reasons and one of them was for strength. I have told them several times that if they wanted me to stop school... I would have, but never once did they let me- or make me feel like I needed to. I wanted to personally, but not because they asked. They seemed to understand the importance, or maybe they were just so use to me going that they didn't seem to mind... very often. There were several days I left the house with tears in my eyes, but they seemed to have the best support system for them of amazing neighbors who would help watch them, Grandma and pa's, cousins and of course daddy time was always needed. I have so much to be grateful for and so many people I owe a bit of my diploma too! I absolutely love what I am doing, and being able to help others in the medical field. My clinical experiences have been tough, but amazing. I am grateful for all those people I have met that have made it a memorable experience. Now closing the end of the program, I look back and reflect on a lot of struggles... tears, good friends... and family but a great acheivement looking ahead! I am excited to take whatever the future holds-

The testimony of a 6 year old!

On Sunday we had the opportunity to take our cute little neighbor kids to church with us, The oldest one is about to become baptized and so we asked the parents if she could go with us to church on Sundays and they thankfully said yes- so we take her and her little brother... anyways they had a great time, and loved it- so we were thrilled, well it happens to turn out that we also carpool with them everyday to drop off and pick up kids from school so on Monday morning they came to my house to get a ride to school and their sweet little 7 and 6 year old bodies were so excited that their grandma had just bought them new Book of Mormons for church- They were telling me about it on the way to school and Tasian started in on the conversation with this

Tasian- Hey Kinzy do you know what it mean to get the Holy Ghost?

Kinzy- Kinda, I know I get it when I am baptized

Tasian- It means that you get this Ghost in you that is not a scary ghost, but he is with you always

Kinzy- Is he white?

Tasian- I dunno, I just know you can't see him... and he whispers to you when your going to do something bad, and he is telling you not too!

Kinzy- COOOL!

Hahaha- as a mom I must say I am so proud that my little man is starting to discover and build his own testimony. In the world today it scares me to think what life would be like without one, but as a mom it scares me even more to think my kids could not have one also, and to hear my little six year old bear a little testimony of the power of the holy ghost makes this mama very proud- We are so excited for Kinzy and for choosing to be baptized and for the great parents she has to let her make that decision and let them both come with us. I am excited to see what the future will bring for these bestest of friends, and for being able to see their testimonies grow also! I am so grateful for the gospel and for the opportunity that tasian is already taking in being a missionary!

This is my cousin cami with her hubby- who we met for the first time officially last sunday- We have not been able to have a "Normal" cousin relationship with her due to some family issues and her not really having any idea how to get a hold of some of us... anyway long story- short- Since April of this year we have made up for a lot of lost time, which we are all so grateful for now, because on sunday night she passed away from a brain aneurysm. My sister called me and had to repeat it about 10 times because my brain could not process the disbelief of what she was saying. It is still hard to do so at times. We just had a family dinner with her last Saturday before she went back home to north carolina. I just want to really express my gratitude for having her in my life, Even if it was for a short time- we made the best of it. We have not seen her for around 10 years and it seems like our giggles and laughter didn't skip a beat. My heart goes out to her husband Ryan and her 4 young children. I wish I could take some of their pain and heartache- She has 4 young children and all I can think about is how much they loved her and how she seemed to be "Super Mom"- they have so much to deal with in their little lives and trials that I can not even imagine. I will miss her fun personality, several text messages just to say thanks or I love you, and most of all her love for life. She was only here on this earth for 30 years, and did not have the easiest life, but she knew how to make the best of the situations she was given- I will keep her in my prayers often, and know she will be with her family daily- I love her so much, and look forward to the day we meet again- I love ya girly!

Well kenna and tasian were having a pillow fight 6 weeks ago and she swung around to hit tasian and kicked the wall- She ended up cracking her tibia- she was so brave when they did x-rays and they did a cast 2 days later when the swelling went down. She was showered with gifts and balloons from neighbors and family-

We wanted to do something with mike's family for a while now, but no-one ever plans anything so me and mike decided to plan it this year and it was so much fun- we just had a family dinner at the park, played softball, and of course the famous mexican bingo- It was a lot of fun

We have been wanting to do our kids rooms over so we finally did- And we loved how they turned out! tasian wanted a sports room so this is how it turned out

And kenna is a little fiesty so she got a pink and zebra room- it was so fun to do both room and we love the final turnout!

I just bought white base board, put tape on it in different shapes and strips- then painted it black and pulled the tape off- we love how it turned out!

So kenna is officially my little dancing queen- She LOVES dance and shakes her little booty off! We started her in Va-Dels this year to see if she would like it and she absolutely loved it! It was so fun to go see her perform and bring home trophies- She danced to sugar and spice, and also did a ballet number- We will be looking forward to many more years of this

My g-ma and pa celebrated there 80th birthday this year- I am so blessed to have them in my life- They are more than just grandparents... they are the glue to an amazing family, and they are the most loving, amazing, wonderful people I have ever been blessed to grow up with. Tasian's 6th birthday

Tasian turned 6 in december... I can't believe I have a 6 year old- so sad!!! It has went by so fast- He wore his captain sparrow costume he got from Disneyland while opening all of his presents. We had a family party and then a friend party- it was so much fun! He is so big now and the best little boy that I could ever ask for- We are grateful for him everyday!

Ok so I am so sorry- I have not done any blogging lately- I pretty much traided blogging for books! I have been doing school for 3 years now, and am in the really hard part of nursing school which mean I don't have much time to blog about my life... even though a lot has happened. I have meant to put pictures up and it is still on my LOOOOOng to do list, but I forgot to do it today, but I still want to write about the Garza happenings- Well like I said.... I am still in the nursing program am on schedule to graduate in December- whoo hooo!!! I am counting down, Mike is still going to school and is still the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me- We are tag team parents with our schedules, but we make it work everyday- he is an amazing support to me and keeps me going. Tasian is already my big 6 year old and is the smartest little thing I know- He loves kindergarten and soccer- He is the best little boy anyone could ever ask for, and Kenna is getting so big. She turned 4 a couple weeks ago and I can't even believe my baby is 4 years old- Life is so busy at our house, but it is a good life- I am truely so blessed to have the family and friends I have- I love each and everyone of them! I promise I will try to get some pics posted, I hope you all have not forgotten about me- I am still alive... barely some days, but I will try to post some more pics and show you more of my exciting life- haah!

Ok so I know I have been such a slacker- I have so many photo's to download, but I don't know what is going on with my computer- It will not let me pull up the pictures that I want to view! I want to just write a little bit that has been going on in life to keep you posted- I have a new cute, adorable, cuddly nephew named grayson! he is the new love of my life- I adore him already and have told him repeatedly he will never do any wrong in my eyes- I love to kiss his little cheeky's off and then give him to his mommy for those sleepless nights- Tasian turned 6 in December.. sad!!! I can't believe how fast time continues to go by! Kenna is active in school and dance and still marches to the beat of her own drum- I am in still in school! aaahhhhhh! I am in a sea of homework and tests at any given moment, and often feel like I am drowning, but I am somehow still staying afloat. Life is busy, but it is still good to us! Mike is still and will always be the love of my life and is doing great! I am sorry I have been such a slacker- Don't forget about me... I will try to post some pics sometime soon, Mike will figure out the camera issue hopefully-

This year was such a great Christmas- I probably say that every year, but this year tasian give me such a special gift that no amount of money could buy- and my Hubby is the best man ever- It was a great Christmas and I am very blessed!!! This is what tasian give me- It made me tear up just reading it... he was so excited to give it to me since the day he brought it home, but I waited until christmas- it was worth the wait! I love it

This is the way to end a good vacation- just to wrap it all up in 9 numbers...
9 days, 8 nights, 7 times on buzz lightyear, 6 times on toy story mania, 5 days of rain, 4 of us..., 3 times on soaring over california, 2 nights in vegas, and 1 of the best vacations EVER!!! It was so much fun, even with the rain- I am glad to be home and we are ready for Christmas

Well we are officially packing up and going home today! We went in to the park wet, but happy and we left dry and our eyes wet! I am sad to leave- We have had such a good time, and we are really glad to have had this time as a family together. Well it was still raining today, but not as hard- We went last night for a while that is why there is some night shots, then we went today all day- It was really fun today and we definetly made the best out of the situation~ They have it decorated so cute there and really gets you ready for christmas. On it's a small world ride instead of singing "It's a small world" in every language they sang Jingle bells in all different languages and had it all decorated the way they would decorate in there countries over the holidays- It was so fun, We did a character breakfast and it was the best part- There were so many characters, but we couldn't download all the pics- so we just chose some our favorites- This is a huge tree right at the enterance-

Day 5- why rain why??

Ok so it is day 5 in california, and the weather is horrible- I am trying to have a positive attitude, but it is very frustating- It is so wet and cold that we actually came home cause the kids were crying and just wanted to leave- you know it is bad when your kids want to leave Disneyland. It is all over the news here that it is the worst storm they have had in a long time- yay for us right?? We are hoping tomorrow will be a little brighter- but here is some pics of what we have been doing- This is our hotel- we are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn- We love it so far!

Day 3 & 4 ... a bore!

So we got to anaheim yesterday and it has not stopped raining- We have sang rain rain go away about 100 times and it is not listening. We are making best of the situation though. Yesterday me and kenna went and got manicures and pedicures- it was so much fun, I have some pics, but I will post them tomorrow cause that is pretty much the only pics I have taken in 2 days so I will add them to the other ones. Mike and Tasian went to the arcade and played for a while then we came back to our hotel and went swimming in the rain. It was fun!!! Today we went to church- which was a really good christmas program and then off to the flea market/ swap meet- Holy people!! there were a ton of people there trying to get out of the rain i guess. It was so busy so we didn't stay long, and we went to another shopping place. We are hoping to go to disneyland tomorrow thru wed. even if we are drenched- Nothing will stop us from having fun dang it! I am sorry for the boring post, but I hope there will be more tomorrow-

Day 2 still in Vegas!

Today was a day of shopping, fun, and movies! We woke up and went to the Las Vegas shopping outlets- It was so fun, and we loaded up on disney stuff before we head to disneyland- Then we went to see Tangled- AdOrAbLe- We can't wait until it comes out so we can see it again. Then we went to the excalibur and played some arcade games, then off to the shark reef in Mandalay Bay- It was a fun filled day, we ended it with getting ice cream and watching the wizard of oz in our room- It was a really fun day, now we are packing up agian and heading to Disneyland!... well anaheim atleast for now Mike is trying to get the kids to touch the sting rays... they wouldn't... they probably remember steve erwin... jk

Day # 1 in Las Vegas

Today we left for our Disneyland Vacation and we are staying the first 2 nights in vegas! It has been so much fun so far... we got to vegas around 3:30 and went and walked the strip until around 10- we had a fun time and I must add there are some crazy people in this world and 1/2 of them are in vegas right now... not including us!

We seen these people on the side of the road and the boys had to get a quick pic... after all how often do you meet Iron Man and a Darth Vader all in one trip?

We went to see the fountains at the Belagio.. It was so cool the music was playing to Santa Baby- very fun!!!

Oh it wouldn't be the holiday season without black friday shopping- we got to walmart at around 10:30 p.m. on thanksgiving night and did not leave until 6 am on friday morning, then we headed to target, the mall, joanns, and a couple other nik nak places- Lets just say it was very successful!!! We got so much done and there is not a person still to buy for- we are happily done and couldn't be happier- You will see our little suprises in a month when they are scattered around our christmas tree- I am just going to say how thankful I am for my hubby to go with me and have just as much fun as I do- Thanks babe for being so good about it and not making me go alone! I am pretty sure he goes cause he loads up on all the electronics stuff too- who wouldn't love that??

ok so tasian had his tonsils out last wed. He is doing great and we are all suprised at how well he has recovered- He has been a tough little cookie. I would show pics, but my camera got some sand in it at bear lake and we can no longer open it to view our pics- so I can't post them- sorry- just picture a sick little boy in a hospital bed- is was sad, but he has done awesome- some updates on our family is... not much- we are still going to school- I have been going for 2 years, but have been in the nursing program for 2 months and have 12 full months left- crazy busy, but people keep telling me it will be worth it, so lets all hope so right- Mike is still going also and we are so excited for him to someday be finished also- I wish this time next year we would be both wearing a cap and gown, but I am pretty sure that's not gonna happen, so we just take it semester by semester- We are leaving for Disneyland in 2 weeks from tomorrow- so I promise we will be taking our new camera and will post some pics of that then k

My family had a nerd night at the first of november- it was so much fun, we went to dinner and bowling- there were 21 of us that went, but my camera is having technical difficulties so I had to borrow the pics my sis took- so once we get that up and going I will download more. we had so much fun!! I love my crazy little fun family and am very grateful we all can get together and do this. We thought just another date night would be too boring, so we mixed it up a little with nerd attire- Mike's inpiration was off of the big bang theory- we loved the wig... and man was I ever glad to be his date in those tight red pants and star trek badges- haha- I am just glad he is such a good sport on our crazy ideas-

The other day I was cleaning up my kitchen and this is what my kiddies were doing- I loved it so I had to take a picture. They love to learn and I am so grateful for that- I just hope I can take another picture like this when they are in high school-

We love halloween at our house!!! It is so much fun to load up on treats and dress up. We had our 1st annual Halloween couples dress up party- it was so much fun!!! this tradition will be ongoing for a long time- we went bowling at fat cats then to dinner at chilis- we had such a good time! Me and mike went as Morticia and Gomez from the addams family- and loved it!

Ok so I know Cinnamon only had her puppies yesterday, but we have already got attached and named them all- This one was peanut cause he was the runt of the litter. He was so tiny as you can see next to the remote he is so small. we just walked in from taking our family pics and this is what we found (minus the box) he was already dead and cinnamon was going crazy trying to clean him. I am sad for her, but a little peace of comfort is that my little girl Malia and Janets baby blaze in heaven now have a little puppy to play with- On a happier note we named the other ones spike, rebel and my favorite is the fat one and tasian named him Jello- I love it, so long little peanut

K so today was a very big day for all of us- Tasian and Kenna had field trips with their schools, me and mike went to the temple to see one of my best friends get sealed to her sweet little family, and cinnamon had her puppies- It was quite the sight- I walked into the sickest seen I could imagine- It was so gross, but cool at the same time to see all of the puppies still ok- she had 4 and so far they are all doing good- They are only about an hour old, but this post is for janet to see them- Since her doggy is the dad-

Kenna had a spotlight of her for pre-school the other day so this is what it said- she is 3 years old, lives in tremonton, her favorite color is pink, and book is old macdonald, her best friends are pretty much all of our neighbors and my favorite is when she grows up she wants to be a teacher and a... rainbow- hahaha- oh how I love that little girl!

Today our cute little neighbor corbin was baptised and we were so blessed to be invited. Well while we were sitting there waiting for his turn to come they showed a movie about Christ's life. Well while we were watching I had McKenna sitting on my lap and was trying to explain to her what was going on, well a part came in the movie with Christ as a shepherd and so he had a big stick in his hand and this is how it went...
Me- Look there is Jesus with all of those lambs around him, He is trying to guide his sheep to the right place..
Kenna- Why is he carrying a stick? Is he going golfing?
Me- Mwahhhhhaa- it was freaking hilarious, but a quiet giggle was all that was needed in the church-

Me- what the??? ok it's on- I will do it... and so I did- yesterday-
I finished it in 51:25 and was just glad to get it over with and yay cause I beat them both- I am a little more competative about things when it involves my hubby so I did it for him yesterday- he is a great supporter and for that I am very thankful, but he has never pushed me to run, so when he asked if I was I was a little suprised, but I did it- This is a pic after when I had come home and got ready to go back to peach days for the rides and some fun- I just wanted to hold up my shirt in rememberance- and of course what is a pic without my munchkin right at my side? I have to say the 10K was a really hard race for me- it was up and down hills and the whole last 2 miles of the run were an up hill slope- it sucked and I am pretty sure the person who made the trail has never ran it- we need to change that people- it was hard, but of course you can't quit cause there is so many people on main street waiting for the parade to start that you just have to keep going in fear that if you stop you might see someone you know off to the side- so I did it, and am glad I did-

I never knew when becoming a mom that things would fly by so fast- I miss having my babies around and now they are already in school- Kenna started pre-school today and she is actually there right now- I just can't believe it- I absolutely love being a mom and am so grateful to have the amazing kids that I do, but it is so heart breaking sometimes to see them grow and become little people. I wish that I could keep them little forever and then fly by there teenage years- I just really want my kiddies to know I love them with all of my heart and could not be happier as a mommy! This is my precious baby at around 6 months- love her smile... she couldn't be happier with life!

So kenna started dance today and has been fighting with me about going for about 2 weeks now. She was so scared to go and did not want to do it, but once I got her there she absolutely loved it!!! Ever since I was little we have gone to bear lake to go camping with the whole family. We go with the nessen side of the family atleast 2 times a year somewhere and this labor day we went there. We had so much fun and have some pics for some proof of our fun- enjoy!!! Gentry took tasian out on the waverunners- He is such a good cousin and am a little sad about him going for 2 years on a mission and not having him around- He is so good with my kids and we just love him!

Gentry and his friend brian made this sand sculpture of my grandma... haha it was hilarious- the boobs are the best part- you little sickos- they are so funny- Logan went with us this year and was so fun to take- we went on these trails every day and had a blast!

They went all the way to old ephraims grave- for those of you who don't know who that is... it is the largest recorded bear in the worlds history and was shot in logan canyon by a man in malad after the bear killed several people. His body is laid there but his head is in the smithsonian in washington d.c. on display- AWESOME!

I can't even believe I am officially the mom of a kindergartener- I am a little sad about it, and hope that we prepared him enough for this new chapter of life. He will be a McKinley cougar through and through! mike went there and is pretty proud to pass it along- I am so proud of him and hate the quietness of my house right now- I always thought that the quiet would be nice, but its not as fun as I had invisioned. I can't wait to hear all about an hour. I posteds some other little pics of him that I really miss the fun age of having- I love this little boy so much, and couldn't be a prouder mom!

Did you ever dream of having the kind of friends that you hold on to for dear life and love with all of your heart? I became friends over 10 years ago with a lot of these chickies and still am blessed to be best friends with them. we have been through a lot of good times, some sad deaths, and lots of kiddies- that's what makes us cherish our friendships- Every year we try to get together for christmas and some other times, but the most memorable - are the long (not long enough) weekend shopping trips to park city!!! we get a condo, go to a movie, eat, get some hot tubbin on, and shop, shop, shop! what could be better??? I feel very grateful to have them in my life still 10 years later, and everytime we get together- it feels like we haven't skipped a beat and pick back up where we left off- I just love these girls- Last year there was 18 of us, and this year only 11 of us... but we still had a blast! Us at dinner the first night- dinner was delicious, but all of us that ate beef that night got so sick for like an hour after dinner! yuck!

The other side of the table- the girl on the end is lindseys friend... oops I can't remember her name, but she is from colorado

at the movies- we went to "the other guys" it was really funny!

All us girlies at the movies- the only ones not there was misty, lindsey... and her friend??

and what is park city without a hot tub?? we stayed in there for like 2 hours- so long that my toe nail polish was coming off... oh how we love the hot tub talk! Janet met us up there, and had to do the hilarious motherhood belly for us... I bet she will look something like this in about 6 months, when she is ready to pop! without the bumps and crinkles!

Brigham City Temple groundbreaking!

On Sat. we had the blessing of going to the Brigham city temple groundbreaking and it was amazing! President Boyd K. Packer and Russel M. Nelson were there to dedicate the location. It was such a great experience to be apart of and to be there to see the amount of support and love these great men have for the gospel, and progress of it. There is some random pics as I go along, but I will explain- This is just a pic I downloaded of the Temple when it is all done- what it will look like- Gorgeous!

Love this one too! this is a great example to me of love when a little help is needed-

Proud mommy moment- Tasian... along with a ton of kids... got to turn some of the dirt- I am looking forward to the day when I can take him to the temple again, and see his little testimony grow-

It was very hot and we were there at 7 a.m. to get seats, so while we were bored we got a quick pic of the boys- tasian has a funny face, but he was goofing off-

K so as you can tell- we were the 12th row back- it was close enough to us, and we were glad to be able to see. this is President Nelson speaking about the importance of temple attendence

Ok quick story- this is Pres. Packers wife. They lived in the brigham city area for several years. 7 of their 10 kids were raised there so she was telling about how special it was to them to see a temple be placed there until the end of time. Well the part of the story that made me take a pic was that her family moved from England to...... Howell- say what??? I was giggling on the inside and shouting at the same time- I really appreciated the little shout out for my home town- so thats where the pic came from. so I would never forget this! Then she later became the peach queen of brigham city, and brother packer married her- He also spoke about how he had traveled 2.5 million miles for the church and she has been at his side almost for every one of them- I just love love!

And then of course Brother Packer spoke about how he use to run up and down the streets where the temple will be put and played around in the brigham area, He said how there was a school where the lot is now that burned down, then another school built, then it became an empty lot again... but from this time forth this beautiful building will rest here until the end of time, and many wonderful things will happen there- It was such a great talk and he is such an adorable man. He kept saying how blessed he was to be apart of this, and will be looking forward to the day it will be dedicated.

I had to get this pic of all the stake presidents- ours is being released on Aug. 14th and I just thought what a great way to end your calling as a stake president. He is such a great man, and we have been very blessed to have him. He is the 5th one in from the left- standing by the one with a red tie-

And this is one of the bishops- I had to get this cause my uncle Ray is a bishop in perry and he is the 2nd one in- with the white shirt! love him!

I just want to quickly say how grateful I am to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint- I am very blessed to have such great experiences and to share them with other members of the gospel and my family. I love the gospel and am thankful to have been apart of this. I am looking forward to see and hear of the wonderful blessing that come from this temple. I hope that some day I can take my kids there and share the blessing of the temple with them through the example I am trying to set- This was a great day for me and my family and will forever be grateful for it

Ok so I forgot to upload a pic of the blanket mike had my mom make for me for my birthday- I love this thing.. but it has a story- a couple weeks ago at the howell days celebration I saw a blanket like this that was being auctioned off- so I bid up to $65.00 and wouldn't go any higher so I got bid out by my dang uncle (rude) any ways so sneakily mike had my mom make it for my birthday and I love it, so I had to share it- also today my lion of a dog got her first official professional haircut- and she looks awesome- she was so dang hairy, and now she looks like a dog again so I had to share some pics- I wish I would have taken some before pics but since I didn't just imagine- a hairy, fluffy, poofy small lion looking dog- yay for groomers! and no I didn't make those bows- this is what she looked like when we picked her up!

Sorry these are out of order- I forgot this pic, but the story is below! oops

So I was dreading my 27th birthday cause it is 1 year closer to 30, but if they are all this good... then count on me being 27 forever- I have to tell the whole day experience cause it was perfect- I forgot some of the pics so thats why they are up above- but anyways I woke up to my whole kitchen decorated and a $80 gift card for nike to get some new running shoes- then I exercised and went out side to play with the kids, just to find our entire yard was decorated- let me tell you, mike goes to work at 5 am so he woke up at 4 am to do all this (thats why I love him ladies) ok so for the rest of the day - at 6 pm he told me to be ready to go out for a picnic in perry- well when we were going he pulled into maddox and said he forgot some of the stuff so we would just eat there- I was completely fine with that- when I walked in- all of my family and his family was there- it was awesome!!!! so we all hung out and ate lots of food- it was so nice. During dinner he gave me a i pod nano- and a nike chip to put in my shoes that keeps track of how far I run and calories burned... and lots of things- there awesome and highly recommended. anyways then he gave me a little piggy bank with $100.00 all in 1 dollar bills for shopping in park city in 2 weeks with my friends, also a blanket make of bandanas that i have wanted for a while. He is so amazing and I am the luckiest woman in the whole world- this day could not have been any better- The next day I went to get my hair done, and when I went to pay kristi she said that mike came in the day before and already paid- so it even continued to the next day- I just want to tell him that he is the best thing that has ever came in to my life- I love him more and more everyday- so thanks babe for being the best man for me!

Ok so the other day I was outside watching my kiddies play and I heard an aweful scream come from my neighbors house- well when I went over there to see what was going on... this is what we found- a snake in her drive way- so of course the boys thought it was the coolest thing ever, while me and candice were screaming like a bunch of little girls- well this is some pics of our brave little boys picking it up, and putting it in the garbage. It was already dead and we found this out by tasian throwing a rock at it, and there was no movement (atleast from the snake- me and candice were dancing around in the street screaming)- so enjoy all you snake lovers-

K so we had the big howell days celebration again, and yes all 25 people showed up- haha j/k there was a lot of us, anyway we did our annual baseball tournaments, and yes people we won for the 3rd year in a row! yay baby- so here is all of us that played- It was so much fun. There was a rodeo the night before, then just a day of water fun, ball games, food, and fireworks- it is always so much fun to hang out with the fam. I feel very blessed to be right where I am in life! K so if your asking yourself what this is... so was I- after I laughed like a 5 year old child, and wiped the tears from my face - I took a pic to share with the world! this is obviously a bus, but the back of it is a water tank- hahaha! it was so funny that someone actually thought this up- and no it is not the firetruck for howell, it is just a water truck they brought in for the tug-a-war- it made the whole trip out there!

Ok so we started the day off with the traditional 4-wheeling. We went to idaho with some good friends of ours, and we ended the day off with fireworks in bountiful- It was so much fun to spend the day with family and friends!!! Me and mikee- we were getting a little bored so what did I do? pulled out the camera- beware of some of the other pics, I will explain

Ok so anyone of you that were at my wedding- these are my hilarious uncles- that are very much straight, they just like to make a good pic, and some crazy stories- they are the best!

Ya you know those people that walk by yelling... light swords... get your light swords!!! dang them- well I am a sucker for junk for the kids, so of course now we are the proud owner of 2 light up swords that last about...5 minutes- dang chinese toys, and crazy american moms that buy them

Our California Adventure!

So we just got back from a trip to cali- I love that place- We went with janet and ray just from thurs. to monday- We went for our 7th year anniversary and just to have a weekend away. It was so much fun- so I will break it down day by day so you know what happened-
Day 1
We landed in long beach at 11:00 am and the guys went golfing while me and janet started our vacation off just right with some pedicures- it was so fun, then we shopped a little while the guys finished golfing- they golfed for 6 hours- it took them forever, but we were affraid that was going to happen so that's why we had them go golfing first- this is just a pic in front of the golf course-, holy white legs

then we just took a pic in our room while we waited for janet to get ready-

DAY 2: we went to universal studios- it was so much fun. Janet and ray have never been so we thought it would be fun to go, and it was a blast!

They had a cute little thing for despicable me, so we took this one for the kids-

DAY 3-

we started the day off and went to the L.A. temple- it was gorgeous! we had such a good time there- then we went shopping in santee alley- my new favorite shopping place- we didn't take any pic's there but we spent a whole lotta money- it was so fun!

this was the coolest tree- it was right infront of the temple, and it was all split and crooked- it looked like it was fake, but it wasn't-

DAY 4- we went to the beach- it was me and mike's 7th year anniversary and also fathers day- what a great way to start it off- except we all got fried- but it was worth a few hours at the beach

there was a seal up on the sand, we got really close to it for some pics before it went back in the water- we later found out there was a baby that was lost up on the beach earlier that day so it could have been looking for her baby! sad!!!

We went to hollywood that night for a nice dinner and to go to kodak theater and see the stars walk of fame- it was fun, but way too crowded!!

DAY 5- we were suppost to leave at 7:30 in the morning we thought... turns out our flight was at 7:05 am and we were too late.... so yes we missed our freaking flight, so what happens when you do that you ask? .... well you rent another rental car, cause we just checked ours in... then we go to the mall for 9 HOURS!!! thats what you do, then you get back to the airport 2 hours early to make sure you don't miss it again- It wasn't a very good morning when we missed the plane but it turned out to be a fun day anyways- we went to another movie (2 in a row) and then we spent some more money- why not? it was hard to get home at 1 am and see the kids sleeping already, but we put them in bed with us, and kissed there little faces all night- it was such a fun weekend, but I am glad to see my kiddies again-

A check off the bucket list!

Ok so on saturday I ran my first 1/2 marathon- Our stake put one together and I signed up a while ago. I of course didn't have my camera, but luckily my sister did and took some pics- so when I get them I will post them, but just to keep my self remembering here is a little break down of what was going on in my brain...
mile 1-3... not too bad, I can run all day- I am feeling good
Mile 4- Passed 2 girls and realized I was in 3rd place- woo hoo!
Mile 5-6- Still in 3rd and feeling good... I am already 6 miles into it so almost half way
Mile 7- got passed by a girl- where the heck did she come from? she snuck up on me like a ninja
Mile 8-10- Why the crap did I sign up for this??? my legs are killing me
Mile 11- I want to just die! someone please hit me with their car and end my marathon- please!
Mile 12- I am just going to start cutting corners and miss the last mile- oh wait their is my sister
Mile 13- glad to have janet run the last part with me to keep me going- another girl passed me- I thought I would be mad, but I didn't care at this point- My legs were going to fall off and she was from high school- Hello I am a mother of 2 and stayed infront of her for 12 miles
Mile 13.1 My hubby and kids were waiting at the finish line with flowers, balloons and posters- Man I love my family- I think I would have cried, but at this point I could barely breath-
SO there is a break down- I will check it off the bucket list and scratch off full marathon- ya not happening- I am really glad I did it now and can feel my legs again. I have only ran 8 miles and never stopped before, but I ran the entire 13 miles and did not stop- I am so glad it is over, but happy to have done it- and as I finished I got a prize that is for a full hour massage- yep I will be using that shortly! THANKS TO JANET AND RAY FOR CHEERING ME ON, AND TO MY WONDERFUL FAMILY FOR BEING THERE!

A memorial day to remember

So on memorial day we got home from camping, and went to malia's grave to decorate it. It's hard to believe it has been 6 years since we had her. Some days are harder than others, but we are blessed to have her in our lives for eternity, and to teach our kids about her. We got some nice flowers from janet and ray, and am very grateful for them, and their strength. We stopped and visited blaze and mandee's grave on the way camping. It is hard to visit graves sometimes of those you love, because I just don't feel sometimes that's where they are, I mean sure their bodies are, but their little spirits have so much more to do and so many other places to be. In that brief moment though that we are their I do think she is too. Even just for a second. I am grateful to have her in our family and to feel her around often. I am grateful to have memorial day to remember those who we love and have lost- Her headstone- all decorated up!

Ok so ever since I can remember we have always went camping with all the nessens over memorial and labor day- It is still one of my favorite things to do, and I am so glad we get to teach that to our kids now- We always have so much fun. We went to indian springs in idaho, and of course the weather was not too sunny, but we made the most out of it anyway. We went swimming, played baseball, volleyball, went bowling to get out of the rain, and just hung out at every waking moment. It was also mike's 26th birthday- whoo hoo! It was such a fun weekend, and were all sad it's over, but here is some pics... so enjoy

So I finally got to posting some pics- Tasians graduation was so much fun- They sang a bunch of songs, then did graduation for all the kids then awards... and there is an award for kids who didn't miss any school days the whole year, and tasian got that award. We were so excited- he was the only one, and were so proud of him. He loved school and is so excited for kindergarden already- good job buddy!

So yesterday was tasians party for his last day of school and making it the whole year- I can't believe he is done with wee wonders and is moving on to be in the big K- I am so proud of him- tonight is graduation so I will keep you posted on the cute pics- here is his cute little friend gage-

So tasians field trip was at the cutest fishing place ever- it is in ogden and it was so much fun. I have never been much of a fisher so I have never really even thought about taking him fishing, but he loved it. He caught 4 fish and they are now in my fridge... waiting for lunch time to come-It was a very educational day- they learned how to feed fish, catch them, watch how they are killed (sick) and then we will enjoy them in our belly's- yay for the circle of life! We had a really good time, and I am sad to say that in 1 week he will be graduating from pre-school. I can't believe I will have a kindergardener- I better just enjoy the summer time before he is officially in school- He caught one! yay- thanks to all the dads that were there to pull them off the hook! bless you!

tasian is learning to spell and the other day me and janet were spelling out words so that tasian wouldn't pick up on what I was getting mike for his birthday and spoil the suprise so after we were done he said.. " when I grow up I am going to sell my M.O.M. it was so funny cause he wasn't even quite sure what he was saying... atleast I think, crap?

Mckenna-
She was going to the bathroom (sorry to those who this grosses out, but it was funny) and she was just staring in the toilet-
me: kenna that is gross just flush it and get out of the bathroom
Kenna: mom come look, my poop looks like a hotdog
me: sick, hahaha sick- haha... called my sis- Ok so I know where she gets it from... oops!

ok so to top it all off...
McKenna was in her jammies and I noticed she had something in her panties, so I said..
Me: what are you hiding in your panties?
kenna: a dog treat for cinnamon (then she pulled it out and gave it to her... yes she ate it)
me: sick kenna, that is yucky- what if mommy put a burrito in my pants and then fed it to you for lunck? wouldn't that be so gross? (thinking she would atleast consider how sick it would be)
kenna- I want a burrito!
me; hahaha- noticing that she completely missed the point

I just love my little monkeys and what they say- it is priceless and I know I will forget so I thought I would share it with all of you too! I know there will be more to come, it happens on a daily basis. They make me laugh all the time, and I love it!

Ok so this last weekend I ran a 5 k with my sister and what do ya know... I forgot my camera. Well needless to say it rained the whole time so it wouldn't have been a very good pic, just imagine maybe a wet cruella deville? It wasn't pretty ladies! But we all finished it in good timing and did I mention I was pushing a stroller the whole time? Mike was suppost to come down but he had to work and I wanted to go down on friday to spend some time with my sis, so that equalled a long, long run, hypervenalation, sweating like a sinner in church, and huffing like a hyena, but it was all worth it and we made it to the grand finish line. I am training now for a 1/2 marathon at the end of this month, and I am pretty sure that was a good start of a killer cardio workout. I also forgot my i pod so I just listened to myself uncontrollably panting. It is quite funny now, but exausting then. I am usually in such a hurry to get to my sisters that I forget important things to grab, but we had a great weekend anyways and I am so glad that I did this with them. Sorry their is no pics, but I promise for my 1/2 marathon I will, even if I have to run home and grab it hahaha~!

Happy 60th anniversary celebration for G & G Nessen

My grandma and grandpa just celebrated there 60 year anniversary, and the whole family threw them a suprise get together-it was so nice and good to get together with everyone. they had a nice lunch, an openhouse, and of course what is a nessen family get together without a baseball game? So that's how we ended the evening- it was really nice, and want to tell them how much I love them and thanks for a good example! My adorable grama- She is 80- yea ladies- she is still looking good, and I hope I get her genes for looking younger- ya right?

My aunts, sister made them the nicest scrapbook of their lives and also janet and ray ray made them a really nice wedding video of there family and life, it was so nice.I am so glad to be a part of this family for eternity- I am very blessed on both sides to have it all! Oh I had to sneak there easter outfits in- so cute hu! you can't see it very well, but tasians tie matches kenna's dress- bless you childrens place- so smart!

And we started the day off with another easter egg hunt with the nessens- what's another pound of candy right?

McKenna turns 3 today- I am so grateful to be her little mommy, and can't believe she is 3 years old. In 3 years with her we have spend only 1 time overnight in the hospital- due to an infection, had many meltdowns, and I am sure more is to come, went to Disneyland, learned the ABC's and how to count to 20 before we start losing numbers, cried together, and laughed a lot together- I miss her being my little baby that I could just cuddle and hold for hours, and now barely get a hug, I miss her sweet little baby talk, that has quickly turned into a conversation (not always good) and I miss her sweet innocence... wait I don't really remember that age- jk- I just love her so much and am so glad to be her mommy for eternity- Tonight in our family prayers tasian said... bless McKenna and her fun birthday, I just love her so much! it was the cutest thing ever- for her birthday we took her to chuck-e-cheese on Saturday, and then just had fun shopping with her- Probably not a good habit to get into, but it was so much fun- then we went to see "how to train your dragon" (so cute, and would highly recommend it) and then Sunday we had a big birthday at the park- notice the serious picture overload- sorry- It has been a very fun filled couple of days, and I am so glad to have made it through the last 3 years- we have had our moments of naughtiness, but I wouldn't have changed a moment (except the whole being bald thing from my niece, but life goes on)- so thanks baby for the joy you have brought in my heart, smiles to my face, and all the belly laughs you make me do cause the things you think of- I love you so much! Ok so we went last weekend to logan to the park/willow zoo (pretty much just a tour of a bird farm) and then to hobby lobby, and this is what tasian and kenna dressed up as, and had to come show me- yes people i am one of those moms that looks like they can't handle there children in public places, but hey they came to me- and what the heck they were just having fun right!

and what is this.... yes it is an eagle- not at a good angle though!

all them infront of a deer- really a deer-- cummon, zoo people- I grew up with these in my back yard, and we ate them for dinner- but whatever- it's entertaining to them, and they don't have to hunt for food right, I would just be nervous for deer season- that's an easy kill- haha just kidding animal control- don't call!

Ok so I have been going to school now for 2 months- and it is already so draining. I have 2 dang years left - I am not sure some days that I will make it another month- It is so hard to leave your kids 5 nights a week when your not even use to having them out of your sight for 1 day- I am gone every night from 5 - 9-30ish p.m. I am grateful to see them all day and to be home with them all day, but I never- and I really mean hardly ever never see mike- It is the hardest part. I leave 45 min. after he gets home and i see him to put the kids to bed. then I have friday nights home... and what do you know- he works friday nights- I am hoping one day it will end and will all be worth it, but it is really hard in the moment- I really do feel blessed to be at home with my kids though and not have to work a busy job while I go to school- I do work one night a week to keep my CNA license and then go to school mon.-thurs. so we really take full advantage of our only day together as a family -that is saturday and 1/2 the day sunday- I am glad I got into the program, but it's very wearing- any advice people??? anyway, that is all that is happening lately in our busy little life's- I have discovered we are a work hard- play hard kind of family- and I am looking for the little ray of sunshine at the end of a long 2 year tunnel- that just lets me play hard- and not so much work- Bring on the sunshine!

Homecomings and Hot tubs... ok so not together!

So my awesome, amazing, adorable- cousing brodie came home off of his mission on wed. from faithfully serving in argentina- were so proud of him, the seeds he planted, and the examples he set! Here is just some of the family- but he had a lot more friends and family show up later- It was such a good time, and we went to dinner after words- then for me off to school! yay- Well just a little shout out to brodie- go you! It's good to have you home!

This was so sweet! My aunt tammy just ran to him and loved him- Priceless!! I can't wait for that moment in my life someday!

And no people this is not a girl friend waiting-- It is his beautiful sis jenna! It was so cute to see them miss each other so much- I hope my kiddies have that closeness in 18 years-

and yes we got a hot tub- don't be jelous of the 60's tile in the background! I look very scary with no make up, but who wears makeup in the hot tub? ok ok i will next time- jees! It is quite scary, but i didn't think of it at the time- anyways- we got it from one of mikes buddies from work- he was going to get a new one, and told us we could have it if we came to get it- well 24 hours later and 6 men moving it- we had it in- And man am i glad- along with my joints! Don't get too attached people- were taking it with us when we move here in 5 years! haha-

And my hubby in it- I had to take a pic of the whole thing- need i mind you it is about 20 degrees outside, but just like jamaica on the inside- I don't really know why he would have wanted to get rid of it- i mean cummon- who wouldn't want a retro 60's hot tub.. it matches every decor! THANKS!

Ok so on saturday night mike suprised me with jazz game tickets- It was so fun, but of course as tradition would allow- My camera batteries died right after this picture. It was a good game though- they played the clippers and won by 23 points- yaya! It is really hard to see this, but a guy proposed to this girl with the help of the jazz bear, and then he covered them with silly string- so that is about all you see in this pic, it was cute to see it though-

And before the game we went to tepenyaki- yum yum- don't you love the flash from the camera in the backgroung? it's not a distraction at all is it? We took our kiddies and our in-laws and then they took them home so we could go to the game- great trade off hu!

Ok so after a very long- event filled weekend last week, and long locks of lovely hair now gone- We thought we could try to make the week end off on a good note- So why not make your baby cry a little more by getting her ears pierced?? right? that will help it- Well McKenna has wanted her ears pierced ever since her cousin got hers done- so we were going to wait until her 3rd birthday, but due to tragic devistation of quickly looking like a boy- we had to move quickly and get them babies pierced, and she did great- She loves to show them off to complete strangers- Here she is before- all happy and excited to finally get them done!

Then she was a little more nervous- and didn't want to leave my lap... and wait for it...

all the sudden she had two white, plastic guns to her ears- not so reasurring then-... and

bamskey- came the tears-Mckenna cried to0- It was sad to see her in tears, but they were short lived and she did great- Yay for accessories ladies!

Ok so yes I have never had to deal with McKenna cutting her own hair- but I should have been worried about my niece abbi cutting it- She looks like a boy- and I cryed all morning- Today I watched abbi and I was downstairs doing a vinyl order for someone- and I walked up to this! Are you kidding me people! I went from having a little girl with long beautiful hair... to a boy in a matter of seconds- She has a hair cut appt. at 3 today so i will keep you posted- but if you notice she did have cute piggy tails and they are cut all the way to the elastic- whaaa! I just want to go crazy and pay for baby hair extensions- so she looks like a girl- what ??? does anyone know where I can get them? ok just kidding- but I am really sad and upset about it- But it happens to everyone right??

Here is the little criminal- take a good look people and keep your doors locked if she comes a knocking- she looks sweet, but she's not as cute when she cuts all your babies hair off! just believe me on that one- and if you don't... I have her # for you!

This is what I walked upstairs to see- I was hoping it was just cinnamons hair- and still wish that it was- I am going to miss everyone of those little curls- I hope it comes back curly! Lets just say this was no way to start out a good day!

Ok so here is another shot of her hair loss- I still just can't believe abbi cut her hair, but I better get use to it- and figure out how to make it cute and not like a boy- Notice the hair cut all the way to the pony tail!

Here's what I use to do with my sweet babies hair- this was just this sunday and I accidently erased the after pic, with it all done so cute- I will cry over this pic for a long time!
Tasian had crazy dress up day at school- this is what he wore- He loved it and was proud to look like a rodeo clown- every mothers dream for their sons- right??

And all the monkeys on the stairs- some see this pic and see 2 cute kids and a dog- I see it and see 2 kids a dog and long beautiful hair on my daughter that is now gone- awwhhh!

Ok so a lot of you know my hubby works at ATK (thiokol) and they do shuttles for the space program, well today they let the last one go- so we got to go see it go off, It was cool- the kiddies loved it, and I am a little embarrased to say I have lived next to ATK my whole life, and have never seen one of these babies go off- It was awesome!!! I hope freaking obama seen it from the white house so he will pass the nasa bill so that they wont shut the whole program down- Incase he didn't see it- (cause he was probably busy writing checks to bail a couple other car dealers or banks out, or trying to pass the dumb health plan) I hope he realizes he is killing little kids dreams of ever being an astronaut, or going to space for anything- I mean does the budget really even matter anymore when your like 10 trillion dollars in debt??? I mean come on people- Anyways that's just my opinion- whatever right- we'll just continue to work and pay taxes while he just keeps cutting our jobs - yay! Well on a brighter note- It was amazing to see, and it really makes me appreciate the little things that go on, and the hard working people that make it happen- Go you! This is just me and the kiddies- waiting for it to go off- There were like a billion people there- literally- jk- but there were a lot of people there- it took me an hour just to get out of the parking lot, and obama says no-one is interested in it anymore- your right only half the state of utah drove to podunk promitory- to see it- ok I wont start that tangent again-

My nephews were with us, and yes cinnamon too! she wanted to be a part of history too people!

Ya not so much the kids, it was very noisy and tasian couldn't take his eyes off of it- even for a pic.

The cloud was amazing- It covered the whole county- and even still hours later- it was foggy- But well worth the polution- but its clean smoke right??

Ok so I know I have been the worst blogger ever, and a lot of you have give up on me- but I have a good reason... So the last few weeks I have been trying really hard to get into the nursing program, like doing background checks- high school transcripts- getting a FrEaKiNg physical- yes I said it, and it sucked- getting all my college paperwork, and pretty much every thing together, but my sanity- I had to do a big fat acceptence test on top of all of that, and in the mean time, study for the test, and cook a few meals while trying to see my family in the middle somewhere- Well to make a long paragraph all summed up... I MADE IT!!! it sucked and it took a lot of time, tears, and tantrums- I made it into the RN program. It will take me until about next oct. or nov. to finish, but mama don't care. She is just happy to be in and to be on my way to a great career. I just want to really thank my family for a lot of prayers, and encouragement. Janet you rock and listened to me at every moment, and gave me a lot of strenghth and also to my amazing hubby- I am not sure what he sees in me, but I am glad he is sticking around so one day I will maybe figure it out- He is my rock, and gives me the strenghth I need for my daily tasks- SO YAYA! I am on my way to finally be what I want to be when I grow up- haha!

ok so as usual my house is chaos with McKenna and she usually keeps us all on our toes- Well the good side of small miracles is cinnamon is still living, despite her daily getting choked, stepped on, fell on, and getting held like a baby all the time... and then usually dropped- Well today beat that all- My mom was at my house and we heard a faint bark... bark... well we knew Mckenna had something to do with it- It was coming from the kitchen, so we checked the pantry- and no doggy, well guess where she was... IN THE FREAKING FRIDGE PEOPLE! are you kidding me? Who thinks of that? only the sweet mind of a 2 year old- I couldn't help but try to be stern while laughing my butt off- It didn't do much good cause 5 minutes later we found her stuffed in her dress up box and she had her covered in crowns and high heels so I might not notice or once again hear the faint bark- Someone help me! she has to pick my retirement home someday... and i have a feeling it is going to be very creative!

ok so today was Tasian's big 5th birthday, and we had a party at the Peak in brigham- They had a huge jungle gym for the games, a treasure hunt, games, and lots of prizes- We had a lot of fun, and it made the whole day to see him have so much fun with his friends and cousins. I can't believe he is 5 already, and wonder where the heck the time has gone- He is getting so big so fast, it makes me a little sad to even think about- We had a good day though!

They all had to pop balloons with there bums- Abbi and McKenna were plugging there ears before they even got to the poppin'

Ok so it's been a little while- Last month we went to RC Willey just to look, and well we came home with these and a new 65" T.V. oops! but I love these couches- I haven't posted about them cause I just took down my tree and they didn't look as nice with a huge tree with them- But they are fun to have, and I have waited a long time for ones I actually like- I liked my other ones, but shortly after I got mine- My grandma bought the same ones- And as fun as that sounds- It kinda killed it for me- Plus when I got married forever ago (6 years haha) Plaid was in, and well not lets just say- It is way out! so Yay! I got new ones- I love and will keep me happy for atleast the next 6 years!

Well santa for sure came- I am pretty sure santa's sleigh accidently tipped over in our front room- We had such a good christmas- My kids got everything they asked for- Tasian said "wow santa really loves me" And from the looks of it- He does! Tasian got a Nintendo DS, and Rock Band, and well a whole lot of other little things, and McKenna got a bike, Princess Vanity, and a whole lot of little things too- We had a really good time, and partied all day- We are all a little sad it's over-

Can I just start out by saying how much I love the holidays- I LOVE THEM!- Ok now I can continue- On saturday we had the fam christmas party and it was so much fun- I Hate when they end- So here is a few pics of the get together- All of us together- we were only missing brodie (who is on a mission, and justin who lives in texas) pretty good hu!

So for the last month I have kept a suprise from mike, I am not too good at keeping good suprises, but I did for a whole month- anyway I had a night stay in salt lake booked, Tickets to the jazz and lakers game, Lights at temple square, and a nice dinner fun hu! well Guess who's freaking camera batteries died??? Yea- Just my luck chuck- I was so excited to suprise him, and to take some pics for proof that the heat is still there-so whatever - Just picture the Jazz winning, and an amazing game- Temple square- complete packed, but amazingly beautiful- With McKenna just staring at the temple the entire time, repeatedly saying pretty (oh and janet took my kids for the night- love her-) see I am a good wife, and because of insane traffic because they closed the weather- our nice dinner turned into pizza and taco's at half time- despite the chaos it was so much fun and I wouldn't had changed any of it -except the whole camera deal- but oh well such is life. The fun part was the game got over and we went back to the hilton by 9:30 well I refuse to admit I am getting older so we went out to a 10:30 movie and did not return until 12:30 p.m. Yea- Momma is crazy- stand back old people- anyways it was so much fun- so thanks hunny for being you!

What do you get when you combine hot summers, freeeezing winters, snow in the morning, and sun in the afternoon??? Utah weather of course- and we usually love it- Not the best weather when your potty training a dog, but she will just have to make yellow snow, and we'll just have to keep the kids far away from it. Today we woke up to what finally feels like december, and I am so excited about it- I am so sorry to those in sunny states who can't have this unless you buy it in a can- your welcome to come to utah- We spent the morning shoveling snow- The only part of this that sucks is it takes longer to get dressed and undressed with snow clothes than it does the time you spend out there, but all I have to say is... bring it on Jack frost- Were ready for snow, and to bust out the snow boards! Ok so I know I said I never would have an indoor animal... why? cause they pee, poop, rip apart thinks, and smell- I know that sounds tempting to a lot of moms- just something else to take care of, but I guess I am a liar, cause we are the proud owners of a maltese-shitzu mix puppy named cinnamon. She is so sweet and the best part is the biggest she will get is 5 lb. Yea for small dogs. Now our biggest obsticle is teaching McKenna how to release a little bit of the death grip she has around her neck. I know it is a grip full of love, but it can't feel good. She is really really good and has only had a few accidents. It is fun to have her and to see the kids love her so much. Santa had to deliver her early, because as a lot of you know he can't deliver animals with the presents, cause they will eat the gifts the whole way. silly santa, so he dropped her off on saturday, and after many different names- we finally decided on cinnamon cause it is a little holidayish and will still be cute in july- Well we will keep you all updated on her survival rate as the week goes along- good luck cinnamon!

So this last weekend my sister got us tickets for a thing called "Time out for women" and I will be very honest and say I really did not want to go- I had never heard of this, cause they have never done it in Utah- this is the first one, and I must tell you, I will never miss a chance to go to another one. It was friday and saturday and it's just some amazing women who come and talk to you, and in a nut shell- kind of like a really fun womens conference. We had the blessing of listening to Sheri Dew (she is amazing!!!), Hilary Weeks (have both her CD's now), Jenny oaks baker ( I will now put McKenna in some musical lesson), Russell M. Nelson's wife (a freaking dorable) and many other wonderful women who I will forever be grateful for being able to listen to. I don't know how many other mothers out there that are like me and feel guilty about doing something non-motherly daily, like going to school, or work, or even on a jog without them with me, but this is just the weekend I needed to know it is ok to have a moment for yourself once in a while, and it is important to do so. I also really realized the love the savior has for me, I guess I am a little embarrased to say I thought sometimes I was a little forgotten, or wasn't as important as others around me, but I really just realized the love he just has for all of us, including little peon ashleigh garza- i am so grateful to know that and have been strenghthened a lot over these last 2 days. I know now I am strong enough to continue to do the daily things I am given, and that I am also not ever alone if I don't think I can handle one more semester. I wish I could have taken everyone of you with me, and please if you have the chance to go to one near you--- please go! look at deseret book and go to tofw link to see if it is near you for next years tour, and if possible go! It sells out really fast, but it is worth every penny! this was the first one in utah, and luckily next year there will be one in ogden and logan- I am tempted to do both- It''s that good, and important in my life!

Ok so tasian came home today with a stuffed animal- gerbal. His name is chipper and he has to take care of him for 2 days. He is a fun little pet and the only kind I want right now- haha! Well he watched toy story with us, went on a walk, and sadly got thrown around ferosiously by McKenna- sorry chipper- but it's been fun. He is in the best pre-school ever and love everytime he goes- He is my smart little cookie!

Then we finished off the day with taking some flowers down to Malia's grave- McKenna was not being nice (big suprise!) It was a good successful day!

Ok so those of you that don't know my hubby is a convert to the church and was baptised 7 years ago, well to make a very long successful story short, My niece shawnica called me on conference sunday and was just crying- I of course thought the worst with her being a college student and all, but it was the best news I have heard from her ever- She wanted to get baptised so today was that amazing beautiful day. It was so nice and was so nice to have mike be the one to do it. It was so emotional in a lot of ways from a proud wife and aunt. Her missionaries are amazing and we are so proud they showed the gospel to her, and were so good to her. She was picked up in a limo and they waited there for her then they took her back to her dorm. they were awesome- so it was a great way to start a fun day! We love you shawny! Her cute little missionaries and my hunky hubby! sorry we got eyes closed on this one!

Ok so we always love Halloween time, and to dress up- We had an amazing day today in logan at shawnica's baptism- as you can tell in the post above, then we came home and bust out the inner freakyness in us and put the costumes on. We walked around our neighborhood, went to howell to do a trunk or treat, then to the inlaws. It was a very eventful day and I am a little sad it's over, but from the looks of the candy- we will carry the events of this day for a while- so to all of you- HaPpY HaLlOwEen! My scary little vampire... careful they bite~

Ok so yesterday we went to frightmares with my family- all except jeremy- Big suprise... every party has a pooper that's why... well he doesn't go! anyways we had so much fun. I was sad to see the day end, and yes people I have extensions in- If I can't grow long hair, why not buy it. Well here is a pic of us with the lovely hackenslash guys- stand back ladies
